Position Overview:

As a Video Descriptor Editor at Gracenote, you will play a key role in enhancing the metadata of film and TV programs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Tagging film and TV projects with relevant keywords describing mood, theme, scenario, etc.
• Analyzing, developing, and recommending solutions for editorial, procedural, and operational needs to ensure accuracy.
• Providing valuable feedback to the Product team to optimize the editorial tool.
• Collaborating with the Taxonomy team to create a robust system for video descriptors.
• Working efficiently within time constraints to meet weekly and monthly requirements.
• Adapting to changing requirements throughout the day to meet the needs of other teams and the tool.
• Collaborating with a team of editors to achieve team goals.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Effective organizational, grammatical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Keyboarding skills.
• Knowledge of Google Suite.
• Knowledge of film and television preferred.
• Good judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to focus and self-motivate.
• Portuguese language skills (nice to have).

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
