As a Cinematographer at Domestika, your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the lighting design and execution for course recordings, promotional trailers, and other audiovisual materials. You'll work closely with Filmmakers and Set Designers to ensure that our courses are visually captivating and professionally executed.

So, what exactly does a Cinematographer do at Domestika? 

  • Here's a glimpse:You'll be responsible for the photographic conceptualization and lighting of course sets and trailers, collaborating closely with the art department.
  • Your creativity will shine as you develop innovative lighting schemes and communicate them effectively to the production team.
  • You'll maintain open communication with the post-production and color department to ensure the final product meets our high standards.
  • Your keen understanding of visual communication will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience for our audience and instructors alike.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to be:Creative, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
  • Experienced in creating and implementing lighting schemes for various projects.
  • Skilled at problem-solving and finding innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges.
  • Fluent in French (native or bilingual) and possess advanced English language skills.
  • Proficient in Film Direction, with experience using tools like Davinci Resolve.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to work effectively within established protocols.
While not required, it's a plus if you have experience with chroma keying for visual effects and CGI, as well as creating promotional or training videos.
