Work Mode: Onsite Interview (Los Angeles, CA). Netflix is seeking a Post Production expert to add to the UCAN (U.S. and Canada) Live Sports and Specials team. This role executes the day-to-day oversight of Live Sports titles, serving as the bridge between external sports producers and internal Netflix technical standards.

Role: Manager, Post Production - Live Sports & Specials

The ideal candidate excels at the intersection of journalism, live broadcast, and high-end technical delivery. You will define and implement workflows for camera capture, HDR color pipelines, and final master delivery in 4K and multicam live-to-tape environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Workflow Management: Define HDR color pipelines and 4K master delivery for live-to-tape content.
  • Financial Oversight: Review creative requirements to define post budgets and track all production costs.
  • Staffing & Vendor Management: Source and approve top-tier editors, colorists, and VFX facilities.
  • Content Management: Lead creative approval sessions for final mix playbacks and color correction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of live post-production experience (Supervisor or Manager level).
  • Deep knowledge of UHD, HDR (Dolby Vision/HLG), and Dolby Atmos workflows.
  • Expertise in managing quick-turnaround and topical content with firm deadlines.
  • Experience with professional-grade camera formats and high-end editorial tools.

Compensation Range

The annual salary range for this role is $197,000.00 - $340,000.00. Netflix offers a unique structure allowing you to customize your balance of salary and stock options.
